1. About these terms

1.1  These terms apply when you use Taily, the puppy-raising app. Who runs Taily, and how to reach us, is in section 13. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1.2  Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app and to purchases made through the App Store. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use Taily

2.1  You must be at least 16 years old to use Taily.

2.2  You are responsible for the information you give us, and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us straight away at support@taily-app.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. What Taily is, and what it isn't

3.1  Taily gives general information and suggestions for raising a puppy: a daily schedule, training exercises, guides and an AI coach.

3.2  It is not veterinary, medical, behavioural or other professional advice, and it does not replace a vet or a qualified trainer. Every dog is different, and Taily cannot see or examine yours.

3.3  The coach, plan and check-in advice are written by AI. AI can be wrong, incomplete or not right for your situation, so use your own judgement.

3.4  If your dog seems unwell or injured, or shows aggressive or worrying behaviour, contact a vet or a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact a vet straight away.

4. Your responsibility for your dog

4.1  You remain responsible for your dog's care, health, safety and behaviour, including towards other people and animals.

4.2  You decide whether and how to follow any suggestion in Taily, and to adapt it to your dog. Stop any exercise that seems to stress, hurt or overwhelm your dog.

4.3  You are responsible for following local rules, such as lead, vaccination and registration requirements.

5. Subscriptions and payment

5.1  Taily Premium is a subscription. The price and billing period are shown before you buy, and payment is handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

5.2  Free trial. Where offered, the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

5.3  Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

5.4  Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting your Taily account does not cancel it.

5.5  Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

6. Using Taily fairly

6.1  Please don't misuse Taily. In particular, don't:

6.1.1  Break the law, or upload content that is illegal, harmful or abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy.

6.1.2  Try to get around Taily's security or usage limits, or access other people's data.

6.1.3  Copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or access it with bots, scrapers or other automated tools.

6.1.4  Use the coach for anything other than help with your own dog.

7. Your content

7.1  You keep ownership of what you add to Taily, such as photos, notes and messages. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, including sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

7.2  Only add content you have the right to share. Your content is private to your account. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Our content

8.1  The app, its design, illustrations, texts and the Taily name belong to us. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use of the app.

8.2  You may use the advice and plans Taily writes for you for your own dog.

9. Changes and availability

9.1  We work to keep Taily running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

9.2  We may add, change or remove features. If we make significant changes to these terms, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Taily and delete your account.

10. Ending your account

10.1  You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

10.2  We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and explain why.

11. Our liability

11.1  Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

11.2  Within those limits. Taily provides general information, and you decide how to care for your dog. We are therefore not liable for loss or damage arising from how you apply that information, including injury to or illness of your dog, unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.

11.3  We are also not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for problems caused by events outside our control.

11.4  Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Taily in the 12 months before the event that caused it.

12. Law and disputes

12.1  These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

12.2  If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@taily-app.com and we will try to sort it out. Otherwise, you can bring a claim before the courts of Belgium or of the country where you live.

13.1  Taily is run by Mandy Lenaerts, a sole trader registered in Belgium (enterprise number 1042.137.613), Dendermondsesteenweg 162, 2870 Puurs-Sint-Amands, Belgium.
